So, for the first time in 20 years Ric and I went on our first "real" vacation. We had so much fun! The whole time we were gone I just kept saying, "We're on a vacation!" and enjoying every minute. We saw tons of new things, plus got to spend time with some of my favorite people in the world (Emily/Brian & kids and Jay & Angie).
We flew in to the Philly airport on Thursday, May 28th, and Emily, Brian and kids picked us up. I could hardly wait to hop in their van and give the kids a big hug and kiss. It was so good to see them! We went back to Em's house and Angie and Jay and their cute little dog, Memphis, met us there and spent the night. Emily, Bri and kids live on the 8th floor of a huge apartment building. You can see downtown Philly from their balcony and beautiful green trees are everywhere.
