Allie's Sweet 16

Today is Allie (Kim's oldest) sweet 16 birthday. She has been so excited, counting down the days until she turns 16. Allie is such a good girl. She always sticks up for the underdog and she's not afraid to stand up to bullies in order to do that. She is beautiful inside and out. She was the most gorgeous baby around, with her dark black hair, her porcelin skin and her big blue/green eyes! People would stop Kim all of the time just to tell her how beautiful Allie was. She had really curly hair as a baby and people actually asked Kim if she permed Allie's hair. Who perms a tiny baby's hair? Anyway, Allie has grown up and is still that beautiful girl. She is smart and happy and full of life. She can't wait to date (there is a certain someone who will hopefully ask her out soon) This picture was taken a few weeks ago for Allie's first official school dance. She went with friends since she wasn't quite 16 yet, but I'm sure those days are over and she will have plenty of boys wanting to ask her out. The best part about Allie is she still likes hanging out with her mom and even her crazy aunt, me! Me, Kim and my mom went shopping with Allie for her dance dress and she let us do her make-up and hair and it was SOOO fun! Allie is not really your typical teenage girls 'cuz she does like us old folks so much. I even think she still finds us amusing and entertaining. : ) Allie, I'm so proud of you and the young woman you have become. I love you!! Happy, happy birthday!!!
